Moab, Utah, and Arches National Park

This weekend Sean, Luke, and I, decided to go to Moab, Utah, to do some spring camping. We left on Thursday afternoon and got back tonight at five. In between....well it looks a bit like this...

-This sign tells a true story...only because Arches has many great places to climb apposed to hike...and climbing is a bit more dangerous.

-Entrance to Arches National Park and visitors center.

-Our Campsite in Devil's Garden Campground (we woke up early and got there at 630 to get it..first come first serve)

-My new SWISS ARMY tent.

-me and Luke right by our campsite and the trailhead

-Pine Tree Arch

-Landscape Arch

-If you look close you can see me under Delicate Arch.

-a bit of the landscape by Delicate Arch

-Sean and Luke by Broken Arch.

-Climbing on Broken Arch

-Sean and me near Partition Arch

-Climbing near Partition Arch

-Sean by an Arch

-Luke on the edge near Delicate Arch.

-After we raced to the top of a short climb near Delicate Arch

-Climbing using the walls near Devils Garden Trailhead

Sweet pictures.
I take it it was warm there??
How far is Moab from denver?
I'd like to go there, and to the Great national sand dunes.
I keep forgeting to tell you I have your PS2 at our house. we are playing games on it until you pick it up:):):)

It was pretty warm...40's to 70's depending on the sun, Except the first night got down in the 30's and it was pretty cold to sleep in the tent. Moab is about 5 1/2 - 6 1/2 hours depending on the weather in the mountains.

I have to work on saturday, but I might swing up there on sunday if it works for you (I don't want you getting to attached to those games). You can keep the ps2 and one controller for now though....

What a cool pictures! I hope you enjoyed your stay there. I wanna hike there as well, and enjoy the beautifull nature! But it is a bit to far from Zwolle. Maybe in the future when we will make another trip in the States.
I hope everything is oke with you. With the three (!)of us is eveything ok.
Greetings from Holland, Esther (and of course Bernard).
